the thing with trying to fight back is that your boss could always say that you aren't as qualified or you lack certain skill sets that the others have, even though you may do as well or even better than your male colleagues. many bosses don't like the idea of having to pay for maternity leave if you are at the age where you can have children. that's equality for you. this is why feminism is still needed
