Today, I found out that I have a gluten allergy. What this basically means is that I can't eat anything with wheat in it; bread, pasta, cake, you name it. I am Italian, this basically limits me from eating any of the awesome food my family makes almost every night. Here I come plain rice. FML

There are gluten free flours out there -not at good as the real thing but still work-able. it's awful at first but eventually you learn to adapt and barely even notice the difference.

I've got that too ;( Believe me that sucks!

I have that it's called celiac disease:( but I buy stuff made with brown rice so it's all good but I can't eat white rice just brown rice. I sneak hot cheetos every now and then:))

ever heard of wheat less bread? allergies aren't an issue in this day and age...

Google gluten-free recipes. There's LOADS of stuff out there you can eat. :)

I have that allergy aswell... I sympathize with you!!!

starch, milk, gluten, soy, raw foods aka apples and stuff haha and popcorn are what im allergic too... and i have acid reflux...

you know what I'm allergic to dairy and soy and there testing me for wheat

my friend has that. you can't drink beer either

I'm getting really sick of people putting up FMLs for Celiac Disease. Guess what, I had pasta for dinner and breakfast/lunch, and it was gluten free. The gluten free version is actually much healthier for you, and you can still eat bread, pasta, pizza, and all that good stuff. Had pizza for dinner today actually. All my friends love my food and my boyfriend is constantly stealing it, even though he prefers his "gluten foods." It sucks, but it's not the end of the world.
