Today, I found out that I'm a dad. My ex from 8 years ago contacted me through facebook. I'm happy I have a kid, but apparently she only contacted me because she wants me to start paying child support, now her boyfriend who provided for them left. FML

I smell a possible scam coming on here. why after 8 yrs is she just now telling the OP? smells fishy here. first things first go get a lawyer. " In the case of 8yr old Timmy? You are not the father!!" as Maury would say. After the dumb broad stood there and said he's the only one I slept with and no body else. and later on she's back with 6 different guys to be tested. now that's funny as hell.

what he said. The laws are a little weird in some places. in most states even if DNA says you are the father, if someone else signs their name to the birth cirtificate as the father, you have no rights to the kid at all. It's his duty to pay for the kid not yours. Talk to a lawyer ASAP.

Yeah, because condoms are a sure fire way to never get pregnant... NOT! Unless you're one of those people that actually believes it's impossible to get pregnant using condoms.. in which case you might want to do a little research
