Today, I found out that I've been calling my boyfriend's dad by the wrong name for the past two years. No one had told me sooner because they liked laughing at me for it when I wasn't around. FML

Today, I found out that I’ve been greeting a coworker by the wrong name for six weeks. The worst part? They never corrected me because they thought it was funny, especially because it turns out to be their mom's name. FML

I'm a Martian when it comes to pop culture. Sometimes I mix up beyonce and rihanna so I started mixing up celebrity names on purpose. I learned to laugh at myself. If he has a good sense of humor call him a different name everytime you see him. Inside jokes are a great way to build closer relationships.

LOL I called my friends dad by my other friends dad's name. They looked exactly the same except for one was really tall and the other was short and heavier but face, hair and that stuff they looked the same. Yeah her dad just ignored me and they couldn't figure out why I was calling him Gary when his name was Gus. LOL

Fess up, what was the circumstances regarding getting his name wrong in the first place, what is his real name, and how did you find out it was wrong? I'd be tickled that they weren't pissed... They have a sense of humor :)
