Today, I found out that I was adopted. I'm 46 years old with 11 real siblings and no one bothered to tell me until I found the documents in my dead adoptive father's house. FML

Maybe to their eyes, you were never adopted and has always been part of the family. Also, we don't know what's the arrangement made by both families when they adopted you so it's hard to say.

I understand where ur coming from, OP, but think for a moment if they HAD told u when u were a kid. U probably would have been upset or freaked out or u might have even hated ur adoptive parents for the rest of ur life because u would have felt different from everyone else in ur family. Like an outsider. They probably didnt tell u just for that reason: that they were scared u would stop loving them. Try to be understanding to them OP. They love u.

Did everyone forget that he has 11 siblings? Maybe that's what he's upset about. He may have wanted to know them.
