I had 9 wisdom teeth removed. It does suck. And likely by Christmas you may have more (I had 7 at first and by the time of the surgery I had 9, although the last two were much smaller). The pain was not bad, people are right, you will get good pain killers. Anyways, milk it.
Not that bad. Surgery: They get you really doped up. Then they fix a problem you have. Then you wake up high. Then they send you home with some real good shit. I mean, sure, there's a low possibility of dying. But that's life. It always ends the same way.
The surgery isn't bad, becasue they knock you out so you dont feel anything. i just had mine pulled last wednesday. well the day of surgery when you wake up your face is still numb and you dont feel anything but they give you really good pain killers. im not good with pain and they help a lot for me. but make sure to do as they say about cleaning and all that, because you can get an infection. i didn't irrigate the holes with the sringe they gave me so now i have a minor infection. you just get to eat soft foods for like a week and a half. but it will be fine the first few days and then it will get worse in order for it to heal. and only ice it the first like three days or it will get worse, so after those three days put heat on it. since if you put heat on it then it will help the blood clots come faster then if you iced it. yes you will want to ice cuz it feels better but really dont after the three days. just be careful so you dont get an infection and/or dry socket.
if u go to sleep, put a towel under ur face cuz u bleed, a lot
Calm down. I got mine out last year over Thanksgiving break, which is like five days long. I got Novocaine, so I wasn't knocked out and the whole thing was done in less than 7 minutes and at the end I hopped right up and left. I had two or three days of real pain and the medication took care of most of it and I didn't swell at all. I know some cases are worse than that but it is really not that bad and you will not be spending your whole vacation in pain. Maybe not able to eat solid foods for a week or so but you get past it. By the way, eat soup and put warm washcloths or rice bags on your face! The heat really helps!
I only had three. I had them removed three days ago.
this happened to me O.o I thought Iwas the only one...

Sorry, OP! That's an unfortunate anomaly. :(
