Today, I found out that instead of having four wisdom teeth, I have eight. They all have to be removed as soon as possible, which happens to be over the Christmas break. I get to spend my whole vacation in excruciating pain and a swollen face to boot. FML

Today, I had eight teeth removed in preparation for getting my braces fitted. My winter break will now consists of barely being able to sleep or eat, tasting blood, and looking like a goofy-ass chipmunk. FML

Today, I went to the dentist and found out I still have a wisdom tooth. I got all four out last summer… or at least I thought I did. Now I have to go back and get it removed. Again. FML

Today, after a year or more of suffering with wisdom tooth pain, I finally had all 4 removed a few days ago. Relief? No. I’m in more pain now than I’ve ever been, and I can’t even eat for comfort. FML

Today, I had my wisdom teeth pulled. The local anesthesia worked on three of the four teeth. I found out about the last tooth when the dentist was mid-yank. FML

Ouch that sounds awful. I have all my wisdom teeth still, only one erupted cos it vacated the hole left by a molar I had removed; but it does need to be taken out. Gets infected all the time. Those damned useless wisdom's.

A lot of the time, wisdom teeth don't need to come out. I think dentists just say that to make money. Same thing with braces. I'd take a "wait and see approach" usually, but I don't know about 8 wisdom teeth... maybe just have four removed if it truly seems necessary to get rid of any of them.
