I found out during my first semester of college that all of my wisdom teeth were embedded sideways in my jawbone, and had to have them removed over Christmas break. I highly recommend general anesthesia, and definitely take whatever painkillers they prescribe you!
The pain is no where near excruciating. The amount of teeth changes nothing, you will only be sore. The only thing that I could kind if understand pouting for would be the food restrictions, that I actually paid no attention too and I did just fine. At least you won't have to do and make up work or be seen at school all fatfaced? :D
Dont worry, it doesn't hurt too bad, and if you explain your concern to the receptionist and ask her to put you on a waiting list, you might get ahold of a cancellation or two and get it done sooner.
I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled at once over christmas break my sophomore year of college. It only really sucked for like a day or two. I didn't even swell. And you get badass painkillers. That was actually one of the best christmas breaks I ever had. Seriously.
wowz 8?! lol tht really sux op.. tho ik da feeling, u bettr b gett'n some damn gud happy pills 4 ur recovery :)
I had mine done and no problems. I don't know what everyone cries about. I left the office and literally ate fried chicken like 20 mins after leaving the office. suck it up!
agreed^^ I slept most of the first day, then went to my girlfriends cottage on day two. Eating solid foods and everything. Keep ice/cold packs/frozen peas/something on it often enough and you shouldn't even get swelling. You REALLY shouldn't be out of commission for 3 weeks. It's psychological... if you want to feel miserable, you will.
the exact same thing happened to me! it sucked so bad! sorry
WTF?! so you say that you have 36 teeth?! if that's true...... HOLY CRAP!!!

Sorry, OP! That's an unfortunate anomaly. :(
