Not only is this a scummy thing to do, it's a stupid thing to do. The only reason I can see for this is that the ex is deliberately tormenting the OP or actually hoping for fights between his girlfriend and his ex-wife. So either he's a nasty, manipulative piece of work, or he's a complete idiot. That said, I think the husband deserves more vitriol than the new girlfriend - he's the one who had a commitment and failed to honour it. And I don't buy the "it's both partners' fault if someone cheats!" nonsense. To me, it smacks of cheaters and their friends trying to shift blame ("if only they had put me first all the time, I wouldn't have cheated!"). Alternatively, it may be a badly misguided attempt to reassure people that if they just do all the right things, they can avoid having their partner cheat ("I put my husband/wife first all the time, they'd never cheat!") or a warped attempt to convince people who were cheated on that they had power in a situation where they were really powerless. If someone intends to be unfaithful, they will be - it doesn't matter how "perfect" a partner you were. No point in blaming the victim.
Just wait a few years until she's pregnant with their 4th kid and hes out mowing the yard just to get away from them. Then smile and wave on your way to your car saying see you in a week. Going on a booze cruise with my friends.
Sell this to a sitcom writer. If he wants to be a dick about everything, you could at least make some cash.

I never understood the old man dating the young girl thing. I don't care if it's legal it's still creepy as hell. I'm only 28 and I consider myself to old for a twenty year old.
Sounds like a new raunchy comedy movie: The ***** Next Door.
