Never thought about it either way, as long as the bf remains the same in her behaviour, I really don't see the issue. And no pedofilia is never ok, two consenting adults on the other hand, in my opinion, should be allowed to do whatever they want.

Sure, they're allowed to. It doesn't make it any less creepy, though. And it's not creepy entirely because of the age difference (I personally don't care about age either), but it's the fact that OP and she were best friends. The dad really shouldn't be looking for love from his daughter's friends. Not to mention, they must have been in a relationship before that (or they're both ******* nuts), which means the dad was probably in a relationship with a minor. Kind of not cool. It's a family respect thing, not an age thing. He'd be just as creeped out if his daughter decided to marry one of his 38 year old friends for the same reason.

Hey she could still do that. What about her best friend's dad, maybe he is divorced too (or could be persuaded to divorce)? They could make it a double wedding.

Exactly? If those two wanna marry, then I don't see a problem with it. She is 18, so she is legal. If she were 15, then that would have been a huge red flag.
