....... and i guess you think that's cool? Just like, I'm assuming if your brother wanted to **** you, you'd be fine with that too?
You live in Massachusetts: Get used to it. It's very hard to find a nice straight girl especially in Northampton.
"wanted to become a lesbian" There's the problem. You don't just want to be a lesbian. It's in your brainwork if you're gay or not
That is the biggest BS I have ever heard. Engaging in homosexual behavior is a choice. I can wake up tomorrow and decide to have sex with a man. or not. See? Choice. To OP: Anyway, you really should figure out a way to make both their lives miserable. Make your girlfriend pay for her sins!!!!!!!!!! >:-(
# 38... Your username is "smartornot"? Clearly your comment tells us just which one you are.
Sure, engaging in the behavior is a choice. Desiring is not. You do not choose what you're attracted to.
Oh my gosh. Finally someone talks some sense. GAY IS A CHOICE.
if it wasnt a choice then there would be nothing wrong with it...but i would have to say that i have to go against the majority on this one. i dont get people when they say if someone dates a person the opposite sex and then dates a person of the same sex and then goes back to dating someone of the opposite sex is not a choice. example: so what happens when a person has bad experiences with the same sex and switches dating the same gender. then realizes that it isnt what it is all what he or she thought. then finds a great opposite sex partner and is happy. dont yell hate words just kindly state your opinion.
So according to your logic, you MUST have sex when you wake up, but you get to choose who with? Sorry, but sex in general is a choice, so your point is retarded 38.
If you guys actually knew the answer to whether or not we're born gay or not then you would've had it published and there wouldn't be a debate about it. Personally i don't care and i don't see why others should care either. ...oh wait. There is one group of people that do care. Religious nuts. Because in some old ass fairytale book someone wrote that they don't like men sleeping with other men. Thus that's why people actually give a rat's ass if people are born gay or if it's a choice. Because if they're born gay, then that's totally ****** up because "god" basically condemned that baby to hell before it was even given a chance. But if being gay is a choice... well now... that would imply gay people are wicked and knowingly practising evil.
hey that is very offenseful. no one even brought up religion and you have to go on your religion (most likely mean christianity) messes up the world rant. dont start ranting that till either someone tries to use religion in a wrong manner or you have proof that there is is no God.
Do YOU have proof that god exists? FYI: Saying "the bible said so" isn't proof. In that end, your argument for the existence of god fails. I can bash any religious nut all I want until they get the **** out of government, politics and keep their stupid beliefs to themselves. Till then? BASH AWAY!
/sigh. First, the word is: 'offensive'. Second, TuxedoBento has a point. However blurry the line between religious and social ideology becomes, the argument of homosexuality being a choice or not is rooted in *religious* ideology. I assure you, the government would collect taxes from straight or gay couples just the same. It's the folks claiming homosexuality is an affront to their divine entity, that gave birth to the idea that homosexuality is a choice. As Tuxedo stated- were god to have created homosexuals, 'it' would be in error. Ergo it must be a human decision to 'choose' to pursue their wicked, sweaty man-desires. ...I say man-desires because I have yet to find any passage condemning lesbians. But I'm sure it's in there. Likely hidden amongst adulterer stoning and hot daughter(s!)-on-father-action. I'll get back to you guys on this one. Remove the divine entity's will from the equation, and the only reason people give a flying f is because they don't want their homosexual associates to like them "that way". Which... is no more different or awkward than an opposite-sex friend developing romantic feelings that you unaquit. ...and yes, unaquit is a word, despite a certain spell-checkers' saying otherwise >.>
Then they should decide to mix it up abit, but it has nothing to do with choice, they may decide to pursue option 2 due to option 1 being pure crap, and you could say the same about gays, they could decide to have a straight relationship to hide it, or whatever the case maybe
in reply to #71 hotjavalava: in my world it's usually that way: i fall in love with someone or begin to develop feelings or what you want to call it. that is the reason why i want to date this person and not because i made bad experiences with another person. and because i fall in love with a person and not with a sex, it can be a man or a woman i fall in love with. so it isn't a choice. when you are bixexual you simply fall in love with a person regardless of the persons gender.
And whats wrong with the notion above (It's a choice because I like to **** women) is that straight women can **** other women and not be considered lesbian. Lesbians are those things that **** the same sex Love the same sex Kiss the same sex Passionately fight with the same sex Make decisions with the same sex Buy a home with the same sex Share pets with the same sex Adopt with the same sex You get my point. More importantly, it is not just about hot sex. It's a feeling that can't easily be described; much like straight unions...
Damn I don't get people! How did she not choose to become a lesbian. This is messed up. For all you people saying she did not choose to be a lesbian you are a dumbass! But anyway that really sucks dude.
Mmkay I gagged on the part that it's your sister not that she's a lesbian, but that sucks for you..
Haha wow, that's rough...

Worst excuse on her part ever. You don't choose to be a lesbian. Either: - She never was straight - She's bi and wanted your sister more than you - She's a lying bitch, and she somehow thinks this is a way to cover up... something - She's a lying bitch who thinks being gay is automatically cool
Your sister is breaking the Bro Code.
