Today, I found out that my mother has been telling everyone that my fiancé and I are having a "shotgun wedding" because we plan to get married quickly. She didn't realize that means that the bride is pregnant, which I'm not. I have no idea what to do with the baby gifts I'm receiving. FML

Keep them if you decide to have a baby. Just tell people first.

you could always store them until you do have a baby, babies aren't cheap and everything helps! I was 15 when I got pregnant, now I'm almost 17 with a 1 yr old, and his dad's family has some money so they have both him everything (except diapers wipes and other non-reusables) they don't ask or anything, they just do it and are like "look at this cute outfit I found" or "hey Knox look at this new toy", our room in the house is full of toddler things🙃
