Today, I found out that the 2 loud "firework booms" I heard were actually a guy shooting his dog on the unfinished road behind my house. FML

whether or not you want to believe me or not I'm the OP. the road back there was suppose to be a four lane highway and is pretty long. I hate having it there because people will go to the end of it and dump trash, have sex, ect. the police know this and go down there sometimes. they would see that I still have my dogs and do not own a gun of any sorts besides a broken bb gun.

the dog couldve gone rabid, and people say a gunshot is cruel? its an instant death, not like being left out in the wild with no chance (not saying it didnt have one), but 2 shots must mean the guy was some sorta stupid

How is the man cruel? It could've been just that the dog had to be put down and he didn't want to pay the vet.
