Today, I found out that the money my husband said he loaned to his "mother" actually went to the purchase of new lingerie for the woman he's cheating on me with. I just got the bill from the department store. FML

Wait, he loaned MONEY to his mom, but you got a department store BILL? That tells me that he charged the sexy stuff to a department credit card. So what happened to the MONEY? It's stupid inconsistancies like this that tell people which FML's are FAKE.

Do you have proof that he's cheating and that he didn't buy it for you? Or even that he bought it.. maybe someone else had his card? Like, for example, his mother. Maybe he lost the card and someone else used it. Any number of things. If he is cheating on you, I hope things manage to work out for the best.

Wonderful insight #50. The 'money' he loaded to his mom could be that he loaned her his Dept Store card and she used it to buy lingerie (and that stuff isn't cheap!). Could be that Mom is 'shopping' for a sugar daddy (which could be a lucrative investment). We don't have all the facts here, which is typical. It's really a sad commentary on what passes for education and communication these days.

The money is gone b/c he supposidly gave it to his mother... but you still got a bill? Maybe he did give the money to his mother AND is cheating on you... Just a thought.
