Wow, really? Calling her a names because she doesn't want something he bought for SOMEONE ELSE? I wouldn't call him cheap, but I think it's justified to be a little upset. I am sure there are a lot of other things he could give her, including something he made himself. Gift the necklace to someone else but I wouldn't give something bought for an ex to a current partner.
