Today, I found out that the noise I thought was a mouse in my room was a water bottle shaking when my refrigerator turned on. I stayed up till 4am looking for a mouse that didn't exist. FML

Today, I was napping. I woke up to my pillow making some sounds. Thinking it was my head shifting my pillow, I went back to sleep. Later on I woke up to the sounds again, and a mouse staring at my face. FML

Today, I set up a mouse trap to kill the rodent plaguing my kitchen. While lying in bed, I heard an unmistakable snap, and ran to see what I'd caught. The mouse trap was missing. I now have a large, angry, and possibly dying animal running around my house. FML

Today, I woke up at 6 a.m. and went into the kitchen, where I saw a mouse in front of the fridge. Petrified, I stood in the doorway shooing it for a few minutes. My husband then walked into the kitchen, picked up the "mouse", and threw it in the bin. It was a used tea bag. FML

Today, at around 12 a.m. I went to bed, happy that I get to sleep in because I had nowhere be in the morning. Sadly that came to an end when I woke up around 7 a.m. to my mom coming home and screaming because she saw a mouse. FML

#20, that kinda proves the point that it's not an FML.. If he stayed up only an extra hour or something that wouldn't suck at all... it'd be whatever. If he stayed up 3 or 4 then he's retarded for doing so...so it's a YDI... Plus, my roommates keep me up ALL night EVERY night...and I have to get up early... get used to it... My life isn't ****** over it....

YDI for inexplicably staying up looking (?!) for a mouse. Besides the obvious futility of such an endeavor, it's not a big deal; It's a mouse. Other ******** and chewing on stuff, they're completely inconsequential.

YDI for thinking you can just find a mouse. Even if you saw it initially, they have a million places in the walls to hide. As soon as it knows that there's something larger than it hanging around. It's in the walls. Set a trap, go to bed.
