Today, I found out why my dad always treated me badly as a kid compared to my siblings. It's because I was conceived while my mom was cheating on him. On top of that, he made it clear that he still doesn't consider me a "real" part of the family. FML

Today, my dad told me quite bluntly that, while he loved me, he never planned to have me. My mom baby-trapped him by sabotaging their birth control methods, and my existence ruined his life irrevocably and caused the functional alcoholism he has suffered with for 40 years. FML

...is "beating the living shit out of" an exaggeration? I cant tell if you are saying that your dad is a terrible wife beater, or if you are saying that he did all that he could to save your life... I mean, I dont agree with beating people for any reason, but I also dont agree with abortion... so I guess they were both wrong in my opinion...

I'm not saying it's good(violence never solves anything). However,abortion is a violent act against an unborn baby. I feel like he was trying to save his child and went about it in the completely wrong way.
