Today, I found out that when you hit the neighbor's dog with your car, they might chase you a mile with a shotgun. FML

So you got chased by a shotgun-wielding dog?

FYL, OP. Next time pay attention to the road?

They were probably OK with it until you back over it again to see what the noise was.

If the dog ran out in the street, it's not the OP's fault (unless he was being overall negligent). If he was driving the speed limit and following all posted signs, he can't be held accountable and its the dumbass owner's fault for letting their dog get out...

One mile? That's New York. Here in Texas, your neighbor (spelled the American way, dammit) would chase you as many miles as it took, and you wouldn't be writing no dang FML at the end.

stfu, he could be from a country that uses british english, ignorant hick. I doubt anyone gives a **** about how far a hillbilly can run. How far can a hillbilly think? Not very far thats for sure, hell I know the people in New York can do better!

No, it is not. People with high IQ do not post it online.

So the Dog is chasing you with a Shotgun?

I say FYL. For all of you who are saying this is a YDI, for all you know, it is entirely possible that the dog ran onto the road and the OP didn't see it in time to come to a full stop.

I don't care WHAT I hit. If someone comes after me with a shotgun, I'm driving away.

I hope this is true. The dog should never have been loose in the first place. In some places, there is a leash law, and this is one good reason why.
