OP here! I definitely have a new mattress, and the frames been well cleaned as it was in storage for a while. To the people saying get over it - I'm not upset or creeped out too much, I just thought it was FML worthy. And no, I have no intention of 'repeating the cycle' to my children as such - I need to finish my studies before even considering children!

It's not that big of a deal. But time to get a new mattress. I know that some mattresses have like a lifetime warranty but that thing has got to be at least 20 years old. Time to invest in some newer furniture my friend, or start saving towards one if you can.
Exactly my thought although I was thinking the mattress was 14 years old at best. I can't imagine anyone nearing 20 would be so gobsmacked by the discovery that his/her parents had sex. If it's not one of those special mattresses (foam, sleep number, etc.) do your back a favour and get a new one. Then grow up.
80 - it's not her parents having sex that she is the shocked about, It's the fact that they did it on the bed that she now sleeps in.
I read somewhere that after eight years, a mattress doubles in weight due to sweat and dead skin cells. I'd say it's definitely time to get a new mattress :/
Ewww
Same sheets?
they say you always return to whbere you came from. With you its just a bit more literal.
