If you make a negative comment about My Little Pony or using the term "gay" in a derogatory way. People get pissed and you will not be disbanded if you use the the one term. It is totally acceptable to watch My Little Pony.
Yeah, that made no grammatical sense whatsoever. I'm gonna assume that one thumb up was your own. That or a brony assumed it was supportive and just thumbed it up even though you make almost no sense at all.
Shit, I did screw up. I will delete it. I need to go back and actually double check what I wrote before posting. I never watched the show personally and no I did not put click the thumb up button.
I tried to be objective. I got about halfway through the first episode, and I couldn't take it anymore. I have yet to witness anything to suggest that this is anything more than a show intended for children. Sooooooo... why is this a thing?
Don't watch the first two episodes. Ever. Go straight to Season 2 episode 3, I guarantee you will laugh.
Resistance is futile. Tonight you will have dreams of ponies telling you to watch more, and you will do what they say.
Okay, after investing a little more time, I've come to the conclusion that this show is a lot better when you're totally wasted on alcohol. It makes it a lot easier to overlook the incredibly predictable plot lines, and whinny voice acting. I think I might start watching it when ever I need to kill time when too buzzed to do anything else. I guess the best quality of this show is that it's simple enough to follow even when completely drunk.
In case anyone bothers to read this after so long. I actually get it now. The show is all based on character interactions. It's not about how original the plot is, it's about how the characters react to the same circumstances everyone's seen again and again. The other big reason people like this show is the fandom -- something no one bothered to explain to me when I first posted here. Now after saying this I'll still have to admit that this is still a really fun show to play drinking games to. I know I've gotten wasted with a couple friends watching MLP since first posting here. There are so many odd quirks to the ponyverse that are easy to drink to. Three off hand... Every time they say "(some)(every)(any)(no)pony", every time Twilight teleports for no reason at all, and every time they make a dumb pony pun like Fillydelphia. You get the idea. I honestly don't care whether people like the show though. I know I may sounded a bit too dismissive when I first posted here, but it's actually a legit show. Keep in mind that I was never trying to judge any of you, I actually did give it a chance.
I drive around blasting MLP songs, I wear the shirts. I am a Brony and I am proud of it. I don't care what anyone says about it. Bronies for life
Sup bronie
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Dora was 100% made to sell products. There was a documentary on it. Where as my little pony is a 100% story line and book for the pure purpose of educating kids. That much is about all I know about it. I had no idea there is a game.
YDI... But not for watching MLP, that show is awesome! ^_^ But for doin' it wrong, your supposed to embrace being a brony, not be ashamed of it! I told most of my friends and am about to tell my mother, I wear a brony shirt to school and in public, I watch episodes and listen to the songs(remixed and original) in front of people and so far none of the people I told have given a single solitary ****, and if anyone you know does give a single solitary ****, or more then one ****, you shouldn't care, just shrug it off, so you watch My Little Pony, where is the shame in that? If anyone calls you gay it's probably because they have some sort of masculinity inferiority complex and when they find someone who they feel has a weaker masculinity then theirs they will do anything they can to undermine it to make themselves feel more masculine, if people don't care, then why should you care they know?
People describe being a bronie like being a gay, "I told all my friends and am about to tell my mother..." it sort of undermines the message of straight proud bronies.
I actually compare it as being a child at heart rather then being a gay, but I see what you mean, the way I worded that would give off that vibe, which is not what was intended. :/

My little pony is amazing!! No need to be ashamed. Bronies for life.
What's so wrong about that? Let's see how many of us on here will admit to watching it. BRONIES AND PEGASISTERS UNITE!! *brohoof*
