Anybody who has the capabilities to comment on an FML (ie has access to a computer and internet, and an interest in a popular website) is "conformist." Everybody conforms to something. And quoting System of a Down is about as conformist as you can get. I love that band, but not because I want to be "non-conformist." I just like their music. People who do anything for the express purpose of being a non-conformist is conforming to the idea of being non-conformist. As far as attacking Republicans out of nowhere, you just go to show how closed-minded people who call themselves "liberal" can be. I am very liberal in my political beliefs, but I have no problem listening to other people's opinions and I understand that other people's views and life experiences are just as valuable as mine. Also going to restate that anyone with an account and an active interest in this site is conformist.
