Dude, who gives a **** what she buys people. Everyone's completely straying off topic about her sister shredding her clothes. And not everyone has the time and skills to make their own clothes so stop assuming everyone should do that. Just because you can't afford something or you think something is expensive doesn't mean the rest of the world thinks the same. And it's not like wearing clothes from certain brands hurt other people. GET OVER IT. I'm surprised that I even bother with the amount of morons online.
Just because you don't like the clothes doesn't give you the right to judge the person O.o And it doesn't make it right for hir sister to rip it all up! Some of you must have never been to a real mall if you think Abercrombie is expensive! O.o are you kidding me?? Hello, ever heard of designer anyone? Lol in reality a-f is not that expensive and neither is hollister.
Okay I'm not a complete non-conformist but I like to see individuality. I read this somewhere "Being individual is tough in a world that is trying to make us all the same" or something like that. I like to be individual and I can understand why people want to fit in but honestly, if you can't hold your head up high and ignore the insults and walk away from the fights than you aren't worth anything. Why would I wear jeans that were uncomfortable for fashion? Why can't I be comfy and fashionable? It's pointless to stress your body and mind over something so pointless. Whoever said that just because you wear the same clothes brands that you fit in? Why can't we be individual and friends? I mean think back to kindergarten people. Did you honestly care who the hell you played tag with as long as you were having fun? Why can't it be like that all the time? Why can't somebody who is wearing all black with their hair pulled over one eye walk up to somebody who is blond and wearing pink and purple and bright clothing and just say hi? I bet it's because they are different or they don't seem right. I think the world needs to learn this: Everybody is different and there is always two sides to one story.
*sighs* We can only wish. Inside, everyone is selfish and greedy. People naturally care about themselves more than others. (Also, do you see how people who barely know each other are yelling at each other through comments and cursing at each other?) I find it silly for people to bash on other people, thinking that they can change someone else's beliefs. But yeah, hatred spreads and everyone "knows" their right, so no one listens and everyone just gets more frustrated/angry. So we just have to deal with it, unfortunately.
crazy
Holy shit, I would be unbelievably pissed. I'd probably go burn all her clothes and say that's for being a conformist for wearing clothes.
Your sister says you're a conformist and yet she has a myspace page? Talk about calling the kettle black. That sucks. I would tell you to break her leg razor, but I doubt she even has one.
This is crazy. Conformist, nonconformist, no one gives a shit. Everybody's an individual. If op wants to wear ae then let her, it's her choice. Also, getting $300 dollars worth of clothes ripped up, despite whoever makes, sucks. Her sister should get over her little non conformist phase and start being respectful to her family. No one deserves to get their shit ripped up for being themselves. For everyone saying the op deserves it and "go your little sis," **** you. Im neither conformist nor non conformist. Stop bitching about where your clothes are from and get along. This is exactly why people fight so much. If your wondering where i get my clothes from its everywhere; kohls target macys sports authority, whatever. It doesnt ******* matter.
Lemme guess. The OP's sister is a Twilight-obsessed, mullett-hair-styling, coon-tail dying, skinny skinny SKINNY jean little brat who shops at Hot Topic and yet still considers herself original like the rest of the fags she hangs out with? My advice... destroy her shit, hack her Myspace, and fag-tag the hell out of it.
I don't wear AE or Hollister because I'm cheap, haha. I buy what I think looks good for much cheaper. But if the OP likes wearing clothes from there, it doesn't really matter. She is the one who bought it because she likes it, and her sister is immature and inconsiderate for shredding up her clothes like that. At 16 years old, she should know better than that. To the OP, you should totally rat her out to your parents. Your sister needs to learn the value of money, and she needs to learn to respect you for being you. The issue here isn't about the brand of clothing. Everyone has different styles and may disagree with the clothing choices other people make, but if we didn't, we'd all look the same (ew). The issue here is your sister's disrespect, and she needs to somehow compensate the $300 worth of clothing that she shredded into pieces.
Wearing big brand clothing that the person standing right next to you wears is not being yourself. Being yourself would be spending little on clothes that you like, and you've never seen anybody wear before.
being yourself is wearing what you like, it doesn't have to have never been seen before, if you like it you wear it. wearing something never seen before would be being unique which is different to being yourself
Ok Mr. Caulfield. Do you MAKE your own clothes? ALL your own clothes?
Caulfield's just mad that he can't afford to buy these brands so he makes himself look "cool" by bashing people that can. "o I'm soooo cool, but really I can't afford these brands, so I'm gonna try and make it cool to not like these brands" I mean really, obviously you do care if it makes you angry that people buy these brands. While I agree that some people go a little overboard with there brand matching (I mean really your ass, chest and head have to have the same logo? As well as your sunglasses, purse, and shoes?) most people that I know wear only one piece of clothing that has a visable logo, then the rest of thier clothing are wither 1) different brands or 2) have no visible logo on them. So really stfu and stop bitching because no ones buying your whole "brand names suck" argument. We know you just are jelous, what did some person wearing a "brand" name make fun of you or dumped you?
Holden, you're hype. It's virtually impossible to wear clothes that someone in the world isn't wearing unless you make them yourself (if you even have the time to). So basically what you're saying is if you walk into a store to buy clothes, you're not being yourself. You have the weirdest logic.

Wearing those clothes is fine. Still going on myspace however is NOT.
I think it's kind of funny that her conformist-hating sister has a Myspace account. It doesn't get much more conformist than that. That sucks, though. Plot some horrible revenge :D
