Today, I found out where my $300 worth of American Eagle and Hollister clothes had disappeared to. My 16 year old sister shredded them with scissors, took pictures of it for her Myspace and said that I deserved it for being a "conformist." All her "internet friends" said it was awesome. FML

Wearing those clothes is fine. Still going on myspace however is NOT.

I think it's kind of funny that her conformist-hating sister has a Myspace account. It doesn't get much more conformist than that. That sucks, though. Plot some horrible revenge :D

haha, i used to be just like the op's sister. some stupid emo bitch. i was failing every class i took and didn't have respect for anyone or anything. i thought i was so cool and important. but than i grew the **** up and realized that some of the "conformist" clothes and so conformable because everyone wears it. everyone wears it because they just happen to be really nice clothes and look really good. hmm go figure, the majority of the population like things that are of good quality. I figured out i couldnt ever get a bf cause all the "non-conformist" and emo guys were all literally sucking dick. turns out every emo boy i know likes men. and found out everyone of my friends were making fun of me for years becuase of the way i acted and dressed. now im a "conformist" have a clean police record and am on the honor roll. im a "conformist" because im not a low life and have a future. op, push your sister off a cliff

I shop at am eagle and hollister all the time because they make top quality clothing

Good god. Seriously, FYL. Just because the clothes were from Hollister or American Eagle doesn't mean they're OMGZZZSOOOOOSUPEREXPENSIVE. I've gotten shirts from AE for $5-$10, and shirts from Hollister that were $6. Yeah, sure, maybe the jeans are a bit expensive, but honestly, overreaction much? Some people spend over $200 on jeans from other places, and I can find AE and Hollister jeans that usually only cost about $50 or less. I get my jeans from Levi's and they're about $30, and they're super comfy and have lasted FOREVER, but I still love my one pair of Hollister jeans because they look nice on me! I buy my clothes based on whether or not they're comfortable and if they make me look good, regardless of brand. Generally, though, jeans from walmart or target just don't look as good on me as jeans from Hollister.

who cares where you buy your clothes! the point is that the whole bunch is three hundred dollars. I would be furious, not only because i odviously liked the clothes but BECAUSE i payed so much for them... and the only reason you people are being so hypocritical is because it didnt happen to you! you know as well as me, that if someone did that to your clothes you would be upset and wanting to beat somebodys ass!

FYL Your sister is more of a conformist than you for acting like a stereotypical mall goth.

If everyone buys these clothes then maybe they genuinely are nice clothes? oO I love the style of Abercrombie & Fitch / Hollister, and also the tight-fitting clothes make it so that I don't look like I'm drowning in fabric because I do kind of have a thin body. XD 300$ is a lot. Hack her myspace account and change all the scary gothic crap to wonderful butterflies and ponies. Shred all of her clothes up. And give her a Hollister gift-card for her birthday. If you have the money, spray her bedroom with the hollister scent. And change her computer's theme to candy pink if possible. Make her pay you back the 300$ in order for you to stop. Have a nice day (:

Pffft like you don't still have hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of virtually identical clothes in your closet.

This thread makes me SO EXCITED to graduate law school, harken over to my well-salaried firm job, and blow a few paychecks on some Burberry and Chanel. I will probably be unable to hear all the jealous bitching over the roar of my consumerist, conformist awesomeness. Until then, I will sit in class in my american eagle jeans and my north face snowboots and smile, because I really don't give a damn if people think I'm a conformist.

Dude, none of those brands are expensive or impressive and no one really cares. We don't know you. Get over yourself.

300$ worth of anything shouldn't be ripped to shreds. Plus, most non-conformist clothing usually cost more than what I wear. I usualy buy aero. or american eagle. I think it's cheaper compaired to people who try to be... different. I'm cheap, sorry.

hell, I'm too lazy to be a non-comformist anyways.
