Today, I found out where my $300 worth of American Eagle and Hollister clothes had disappeared to. My 16 year old sister shredded them with scissors, took pictures of it for her Myspace and said that I deserved it for being a "conformist." All her "internet friends" said it was awesome. FML

Today, my brand-obsessed sister bought $200 shorts. She was cutting the tag off of them in the kitchen and left them on the counter. I went into the kitchen, poured me some coke, and spilled it all over the counter. I thought the shorts were a rag. FML

Today, I discovered my mom had sold all of our summer clothes over the winter on eBay because we're short on cash. However, I am allowed to cut off the sleeves of all my long sleeve shirts and the legs off my jeans to stay cool in the summer. Nothing's more attractive than looking trashy, right? FML

ydi for wasting so much money on clothes that will probably just go out of style soon anyways. your sister was wrong to do what she did but at the same time think of all the other things you could have spent that money on that would actually make a meaningful difference. maybe next time you'll think twice before wasting your money on something that doesn't even matter.

Break the computer! She breaks your stuff, steal her computer, put your stuff on it and take it back to University with you. She tries to get it back, guess what, you have a key, she doesn't, and password protect EVERYTHING on the PC. If she does break in and take it, she will have no hope of accessing it. 20-ish digit password ftw.

Where exactly do you shop? Just because you do not like a certain brand of clothing does not mean your opinion is the only correct one. In fact I believe that shopping anywhere is conforming in one way or another. You're conforming to another person's view of what is fashionable. I shop in many different places, thrift stores, Wal-Mart, Target, Hot Topic, and my favorite pair of jeans that were given to me are from Hollister.
