Today, I found out where my $300 worth of American Eagle and Hollister clothes had disappeared to. My 16 year old sister shredded them with scissors, took pictures of it for her Myspace and said that I deserved it for being a "conformist." All her "internet friends" said it was awesome. FML

Wearing those clothes is fine. Still going on myspace however is NOT.

I think it's kind of funny that her conformist-hating sister has a Myspace account. It doesn't get much more conformist than that. That sucks, though. Plot some horrible revenge :D

It's still $300 worth of stuff. Doesn't matter if it's 20 pairs of jeans or just one damn expensive t-shirt. $300 is $300. No matter what shape or form. Your sister had no right to do that and should be forced to pay you back. Seriously. She needs to be taught to show respect towards other people's property. And It's stupid how people are on here judging you for what you wear? Hot topic is JUST as expensive as Hollister and any other store. MY philosophy, is if you like it. Buy it. lol.

Who the **** still uses myspace?

First off, I have to say, I wouldn't dismiss someone as a conformist for using myspace. The larger a social network is, the more likely you are to meet interesting people and things. That said, chick's got a problem. Really, how could you ever think that's a good thing to do? Tell the parents. Failing that, get her on Judge Judy, she'd definitely respond well to "but she's such a conformist, she neeeds to be shown the light!" by a sixteen-year-old with purple hair and a lip ring. Or, you know, any judge. Ever.

Also, the kid needs to realize that, after she's just had her clothing destroyed, her sister's probably not going to look at it and say, "Welp, I need a new wardrobe. Let's try Hot Topic this time."

I agree with your sister. Your stupid for spending that kind of money just to look like all of your friends. However, she is no different. She looks just like all her friends - the kind that sit in a corner and glare at everyone because in their own way, the like to be seen as "the rejects." They always talk about how everyone hates them but that's what they want. You both deserve each other.

she doesn't deserve it! I wear those type of clothes (abrocrombie aeropostale hollister American eagle etc.) and I'm not some brat or spoiled or some rich popular girl but $300 worth of clothes is a lot. if you think that she's something like that you've got another thing coming. just because you wear those clothes doesn't mean you are. and to all you loser poor people who are saying YDI or stuff she doesn't. no one does.

the jeans do come ripped, but it has a sort of thing around it that keeps it from ripping anymore.
