well for future reference my dad has serious anger problems and I would never give him something like it never helps trying to get someone to admit let him on his own

Be very careful for your own safety. If he has that kind of anger issue, you need to keep in the back of your head that you may have to call the authorities one day. Perhaps that kind of wake up call should come from someone that is not you. Stay safe!
