Today, I got a call from the Sheriff's dept. saying that water was coming out my front door. I ran home to find a waterfall cascading over my covered parking. It turns out my puppy had chewed through the hose that connects the toilet to the water. My entire condo had an inch of standing water. FML

Today, I walked into my house and saw it was flooded. I went upstairs to the bathroom to see the toilet overflowing and my boyfriend holding my dog over it so he could drink it. My boyfriend said he didn't know what else to do. FML

Today, my apartment building shut off our water for a short period of time because the pipes were being worked on. It was also the morning my dog had diarrhea on my cream carpet. Not only did I have to clean it up without water, I couldn't wash my hands afterward. FML

Today, I awoke to find a water pipe burst. I frantically ran down to the basement to turn off the water to the house. What I didn't expect when I reached the bottom of the stairs was to have to start dodging the falling, wet ceiling tiles. FML

Today, I was using the toilet at a friend's house when the toilet made a strange gurgling noise. Thinking it was just old plumbing, I flushed. The water started rising... and rising. Before I knew it, water, and whatever was in the toilet, began overflowing and flooding the bathroom. I had to go ask for help, and a mop. FML

Today, I awoke in my bathtub, water all over the floor, all the way into my living room. I drank too much so I don't remember getting into the bath, I have no clue how long I was in there, and I got a message from the manager of my apartment complex telling me the water had leaked into the apartment below. FML

Today, I attempted to fix a leaky tap in my bathroom. Instead, I somehow managed to trigger a water feature reminiscent of one of those Disney park rides, turning my bathroom into a splash zone for my two dogs while I frantically tried to shut it all off. FML

Today, I woke up to a flooded apartment. Apparently, the upstairs neighbor's bathtub had overflowed and water was pouring through my ceiling. My landlord said he couldn't do anything until the water stopped, so I spent the morning frantically trying to mop up the water while feeling completely helpless. FML

good lord u guyzz this is REAL sheez not dumb for not having a kennel. kay so the EXACT SAME THING happened to me!!! its really expensive to pay for all of this stuff. thats why i cant fly out and see my dad this summer. she was at work! and puppies have reallllllyyyy sharp teeth so it IS possible

a puppy wouldnt beable to chew through a hose like that. it was probably an older puppy and therefore probably was thought to beable to be home alone for a littl while and they didnt feel like typing out that whole thign about it so they just said puppy. besides, arent theose "hoses" made of metal...... ?

sigh u guyz can u plz be nice? it costs a lot of money to fix this cuz u hafto buy all new floors and shiz. and i mean its not like u can bring ur puppy to work with u. and yea puppies can chew through stuff like that. they have really sharp teeth and he (or she) probably chewed on it for a long time. and there can be standing water even if its leaking out. it depends if part of ur house is on a slope.
