Today, I got a client who ordered ice cream. She seemed really nice and I thought maybe she was into me. When I asked if she wanted peanuts for an additional 50 cents, she said no. Trying to be nice, I added them anyway free of charge. I later had to call the ambulance. She was allergic. FML

okay a vast majority of people are not deathly allergic to peanuts. But you are right, a significant amount are. The OP is a dumbass.

You freaking idiot... She CLEARLY said NO. Think next time, you prick.

Peanuts are gross on ice cream anyway.

YDI for trying to be a nice guy. No good deed goes unpunished.

what kinda fancy McDondalds do you work in? I want to be a client

You should have used your common sense, OP. Firstly, just because a client's being nice doesn't mean she's "into you". Secondly, peanuts are something a lot of people are dangerously allergic to, and if she actually wanted some I'm sure she wouldn't have had a problem paying half a dollar extra anyway. Lastly, unless you work at your own business, you can't give away products just to be nice or break the ice. I know it was just a couple of peanuts, but you still shouldn't do that. YDI.

good job for trying to be nice, but if she said no you probably shouldn't have put them on there. =/

well, that wasn't the smartest thing in the world. i get you were trying to be nice, but you didn't know that she was just saying no cause of the money. in fact, thats actually one of the less likely reasons. still, sucks that she had to go to the hospital.
