Today, I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. I happen to be allergic to all types of pain medication. FML

I'm sure you also love it when people sensually tickle your nethers with chicken feathers while singing the soundtrack to "The Sound Of Music," but what does this have to do with anything?

#70, His punctuation was correct. He did, however, neglect to capitalize "it's". Before you be a grammar nazi, make sure you're not making a fool of yourself.

Stop your whining(spell check). When I got my wisdom teeth removed it wasn't four, I had five. My preserverance of constant pain rewarded me with an abseced(spell check) tooth hardly after my gums healed. But, still that does suck. So, I feel your pain.

it's called a defect, idiot. kind of like how I didn't get any teeth until I was two years old and am still losing baby teeth at 16. people like you that believe they know everything there is to know when they have no clue get on my nerves so badly...

Wow, that really does suck. My sister is allergic to Vicodin and every time she needed a tooth pulled the dentist would prescribe Vicodin because none of the nurses would ever bother to put it in her file. At least you're old enough to know you're allergic, my sister took the Vicodin each time.

Um, #38, I call bullshit. No one has 5 wisdom teeth. You only have 4. Period. Maybe you got another tooth removed, but it wasn't a wisdom tooth. As for OP - really, you are allergic to every pain reliever? As in pot? If I ever heard a case for medical marijuana, this is it! lol. You don't have to smoke it you know - it comes in all forms, like soda, which would probably be the most ideal for someone who just got their wisdom teeth removed.

Trust me, it happens. Unless you we're my dentist you can't say otherwise. People grow bones that aren't suppose to be. Look it up.

Actually, most cases of wisdom teeth are 4 (or less), but it is absolutely possible to have more. They're called supernumerary teeth. The only real difference between wisdom teeth and normal teeth is the way they grow in at at the back of the mouth, and the fact that they develop after the rest of your adult teeth have form. Therefore, any additional tooth that forms after your traditional adult set of teeth are called wisdom teeth (or "3rd molars" for the first set, "4th molars" if you're unfortunate enough to have an additional set, and so on)

I had mine done last month, i didn't get much swelling or pain though, ice your cheeks every 20 minutes (ice for 20 minutes then take a 20 minute break) do that repeatedly, and it should help numb the pain. Good luck, hopefully you'll be fine and get lucky like i did. Don't talk to much it makes it worse.

seriously, smoke some weed or get some hash glycerin tincture. im a patient so i know first hand

thats hysterical becuase i got my wisdom teeth pulled today and there 3 instead of four. it went fine and was an intersting experience becuase i have neve rdone surgery like this where they put you out with anwteia, beifre i knew it i was done, the funny/scary/crepy part was when i they make you sign a consent form beofre you begin and while reading over the possible risks, death was one of the possible outcomes and i'm only 19. hahah wisodm teeth removal is not as bad as it appears, the days recoovering are annoying but relaxing.
