Today, I got an acceptance later to a great boarding school in India for my senior year of high school. I sent them a letter telling them I wouldn't go, because I just got back with my ex-boyfriend. I just got a text from my boyfriend. Guess who's my ex again? FML

Today, my boyfriend informed me that he'd resolved all the issues with his ex and is getting back together with her. Normally I could tolerate this if it weren't for the fact that I just moved to a different country to live with him, and turned down a university and a scholarship. FML

Today, I was accepted to college and received a scholarship equal to almost half the tuition. After sharing this news with my parents, I spent the next 35 minutes getting yelled at about how I wasn't allowed to go there because my boyfriend might go there. FML

u give juvenile a new meaning. the great boarding school india woudnt remain great if it admitted dipshits like you. you had the cheek to write to them and explain them your frivolous to the power of a billion reason to say no.... probably thats why ur ex re-dumped u. YDI! take it as a lesson and never base these hugely important decisions on people and relationships that you're unsure about. you're in high ******* school for heavens sake. you got ur entire life ahead of you.... dont toss off this stuff for that shit. and #60 - although i agree with ur first bit, **** you for the last bit! india is amazing and so are its boarding schools.

Guys, stop bitching about her spelling. The OP is from Bangladesh so, even though many people there DO speak English, it probably isn't her first language. However, the OP is still a complete dumbass for taking an old ex over a prestigious boarding school in India. The fact that she would make ANY life changing decision based on her high school boyfriend makes her a complete idiot. YDI.

YDI because you obviously chose your boyfriend over your future...You should have taken into account that if he was your ex once, how would you know he won't be your ex again?? Even if he was never an ex, you should consider that he MIGHT become your ex.
