As the manager of a phone store myself I can say, with full authority, that this customer's stupidity was was far from unique... At least twice a week I have angry customers stopping by or calling because their phone's Internet stopped working. A quick check determines that they've shut off their "Mobile Data," followed by their declaration that, "of course I turned that off... I don't want to use up all of my data package!"

"We're sorry sir, but we don't support third-party applications. You would need to contact the company that made the app."

I just looked up the app. It clearly states that it's a farce. Although I am wondering what exactly it does at 12.49 MB. This sucks, OP. The caller is clearly dumb. He should have at least read the reviews.

Who actually believes that by having an app your phone now becomes waterproof? ****, why are people so stupid?!

I'm sorry. I think that was my idiot brother-in-law. Or perhaps his equally idiotic friend. Or maybe not, but they still are getting punished for throwing their phones in a pool.
