Today, I got back to my apartment from being away for the past week on Spring break. I found the locks on my apartment changed and all my things on the curb, many of them broken or stolen. I ran to the leasing office to see what had happened. Turns out it was an accounting error on their part. FML

well i'm sure either you/they have insurance, and you can always take them to court, esp. to sue them for not only material but also "emotional" damages.

I caught managers going into my rented place once. Said it was because they didn't get the rent from me yet. It was the 3rd of the month and it wasn't do until the 5th. my rent never went up for as long as I stayed there for another three years.

i don't understand why some people YDI this -_-"... but seriously, suuuuuue like no otherrr!

Sue or demand reimbursement...better yet, attempt both.

They're going to be required to make you whole. That means cost to replace. You're going to get free upgrades of everything you had in that apartment. Your 25 inch console TV just turned into a 52" 1080p LCD. Not to mention your Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 were all stolen, and your entire wardrobe was ruined. Get a good lawyer. Your life rocks. I doubt they took pictures or inventory of the apartment before they turned everything over. Looks like their accounting error is going to cost them.

What's kinda funny is I'm waiting for the new FML that says "An employee that no longer works at my company decided it'd be funny to make an accounting error with one of our customers. She turned around and sued us back to hell and now I'm homeless and had to sell my children off to give them a better life. FML.

thats ******* bullshit doing that without confronting you? no notices? What the **** SUE THOSE *******

sue the ever living crap out of them! RUIN THEM.
