I think there was a bit of misunderstanding it was just my boss who thought that way, the ladies i work with are the most respectful and caring people i have ever met.

That's horrifying. Please tell the residents family.
I think that was just an excuse to fire you..
I'm surprised no one mentioned an unfair dismissal lawsuit yet. Being too nice isn't exactly a reason to get fired unless you work in some very specific industries.
Maybe when your former boss is old and grey, he'll get yelled at by some ticked off guy working a dead end job for taking too long to order at the local Wendy's. Then he'll remember back to this moment and hang his head low in shame.
Please tell me where you work, so I can be certain no one I care about ever ends up in that elder hellhole.
Your ex boss is in the wrong job. They probably could not deal with you being a better person
I say you should sue your boss. That's a lawsuit if I've ever seen one
Now this truly sucks, my girlfriend works as a care aid in a old folks home, she and her coworkers go that extra mile to make sure the residents are comfortable.
Tell your boss you were just trying to-- kill them with kindness. :P

Why do people treat the elderly so horribly? They are people too; they've just experienced a LOT more than most.
So are children, teens, married people, single people, and imaginary friends. Your point?
