If Tennessee is a right to work state, you can be fired for anything. There are no grounds for a lawsuit. File for unemployment, since you lost your job thru no fault of your own and you would be eligible.

maybe it's because your attitude really annoy the lot of 'em. it's only fair to 'em to report to your boss and resulted in you're being fired. eventho I think they should warn you first before letting you go..

Oh my gosh! A pretty similar thing happened to me recently. I got fired for being too shy. I almost never worked with my boss, which makes it all the more puzzling.
