Today, I got home to find my mom sitting in the kitchen reading the mail. I saw an empty bottle of Absolut peach vodka on the counter. Surprised, I picked it up and said "Wow, who drinks this?" Her reply was "Why don't you tell me? I found it in your room." FML

Dumbass. Even forth graders know that you get rid of empty bottles ASAP. Even if you have to throw them out of your window, you can still claim some idiot littered on your lawn. But Peach Vodka?? Dude. that's weak. Get some better taste in booze and then try again. Either that or start smoking pot.. no empty bottles to hide then.

She was probably pissed that her kid is a wuss drinking flavored vodka.

#9 - no one really cares. Whoop to finding vodka under your bed..even if it is peach. A potato is a potato!

This sort of thing has happened to all my friends. It's like a rule of being a teenager, unless your family is full of booze hounds like mine (I mean that in the best way possible, not the depressing-victims-of-alcoholism way.) The first time I ever got drunk was at a Christmas party with my entire family.

that happened to me, but with my bottle of jack daniels.

Flavored vodka? Yeah, you deserved that. Drink real vodka.

#12, it's not about the parents not having the right to do things in their own home (nor did I say anything to that effect, not sure where you pulled that from) Going through somebody elses stuff without their permission is extremely disrespectful regardless of who they are (or at the very least, notice in the case of the parents) but more importantly, in this case, it shows a severe lack of trust on the part of the parent. And it's bullshit to say that the lack of trust is justified because she did happen to find something. That said, it's fully within a parents right to go through their kids room (although mine never did it to me, and I think it'd be more than a little wierd if they did it now). I just said that in my opinion it's not a good thing for them to do.

#28, i could see it happening because what happens if the parents are worried about their kids doing drugs or drinking? They are parents. They have to make sure they "guide" their kids the right direction. If they think their kid is buzzed or plain drunk then yeah they will search the kid's room.

parents need ot lighten up, garenteed that they did the same thing as we do when were our age.sucks that your mom is being a bag for that. i know that right now if my rents busted my chops for alcohol i could turn it around on one of them cuz they both bad alcohol related problems as a younging

really. if your gonna get caught, make sure it's something over something worth it.

Eazy kiddos. This girl/boy must be younger than 16. Don't push it to drink heavy booze or using drugs. They will try it anyway, but don't push it. OP: If the bottle is empty, just throw it away and no one will ask you anything
