When I read this FML, I realized that I have a few naked pictures of myself on my own phone, which my ex had taken while joking around. I totally forgot about them-- I'm giving the OP the benefit of the doubt and assuming something similar is what happened here, so FHL. OP, at least this cautionary tale has saved me from the admittedly small possibility of ever suffering similar humiliation. You did some good today.

Uh, hi ... lawsuit? There's at least three actionable events in this FML - go talk to a lawyer and wipe them out, numbnuts.

I'm assuming you're a dude since you got "jumped" instead of "mugged". You have naked pictures of YOURSELF? You get a YDI just for THAT? You didn't think to call your carrier and report it, so they can shut off your phone service, and possibly "brick" your phone (if your phone can do that)

There's nothing wrong with nude pics on your phone. How many people expect to get jumped and mugged? OP probably took them, and sent them to their significant other, and then completely forgot about them. But good job being prudes about it. And maybe the OP doesn't have another phone to use to call the provider? But was instead informed by their parent/sibling when they returned home. A lot of people just have cell phones now instead of a landline.

see cell phone companies offer this thing called customer service seeing as how it took an hour for your friends to get the pics you had plenty of time to call and turn your phone off you can do it from any phone so ydi for bein a dumbass
