In my area, there was an accident recently when a professional driving instructor confused a 17 year old boy on his first driving lesson. He told him to 'take a slanted left turn in order to get in lane' (it's hard to translate, I don't even fully understand it when I read it). The boy panicked, took a complete left turn against oncoming traffic and rammed an elderly lady's car. So, just saying 'Go' isn't the worst driving lesson.
That sounds like my ex-engineer Dad's take on the theory aspect of car driving: how brakes work. I remember getting confused by his explaination, skimming the book and just saying, "... there's nothing in here about a spline..."
Better than my first driving lesson from my dad. "Now, since this is your first time behind the wheel, listen very closely. This, this is a DEATH MACHINE. One tiny little wrong move and you kill us all. Our lives are in your hands, so please if you don't want to die and kill your entire family, listen to what I say or our deaths will be all your fault." Needless to say, I didn't attempt and ended up getting my license at twenty.
Haha that's the way to learn bro
I used to get lessons. But then i took an arrow to the knee
