Today, I got my medical checkup back. Apparently, I'm diagnosed with a liver condition generally found in alcoholics. I've never drank in my life. FML

You can get liver problems if you mess around with pills. Same thing happened to my grandpa. Only one in my family who didn't drink a day in his life, but his doctors over-medicated him for a heart condition and he died from liver failure. I'd check any drugs you've been taking.

"What #3 said - stop drinking sodas, stop over medicating & you should be right" All you dumbasses who think you know what you're talking about, just stop giving advice; cirrhosis is very serious and doesn't just have a simple solution.

Cirrhosis? I'm sorry. that's a very difficult disease to deal with. My mother was diagnosed with it. She will need a new liver transplant in a couple of years. Cheer up though, you're still early. Exercise, keep a healty diet and you will be fine. Helthy eating and exercise helps. (: Good luck.

There is no time like the present to start drinking. If you're dealing with the consequences why not enjoy the ride? I'm sorry. I hope you get a transplant.

#102- it's not just Mormons and Muslims who don't drink. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people from all different backgrounds who don't drink (even at IU, one of the country's top party schools). Use your head, please.

you're more concerned with who gets it than the fact that YOU HAVE A LIVER CONDITION????

"you're more concerned with who gets it than the fact that YOU HAVE A LIVER CONDITION????" How about using a little common sense? The OP is upset because what he/she has isn't something a nonalcoholic would typically develop or worry about developing...not upset that it is an "alcoholic's disease" and worried that such will stigmatize him/her.
