Today, I got pulled off a hugely important project, all because I accidentally spelled "country" as "cuntry" in an email to our client. FML

If it's so important, you should have triple checked. So, YDI

Don't you know it's impolite to call clients a ****?

added that word to your spell check dictionary, have we?

When sending an e-mail to a client, boss or whoever is important in your company, always proofread. You deserved that one. But I hope that didn't got you fired though...

always reread before you send..especially if it's an important client..if you did 5 times and didn't notice the mistake than you really need some rest..

That's why you duble check your gramar

I learned early on in my job that leaving it just one letter out of a word can have catastrophic results. For instance, leaving the 'f' out of 'shift' in an email to your boss and customer will result in disciplinary actions.

In my business you would have been fired for that kind of mistake. Spellcheck is your friend.

Don't rush if your email doesn't automatically spell check for you.
