You deserved to be pulled off. You should have proofread your email. That's the professional thing to do.
Never mind proofread... "cuntry" isn't even a word. Plain old spellcheck would have caught that. If it's an important client, then you need to be on the ball. Obviously you're not, so why should you get important projects if you can't even see the little red underline?
