Today, I got pulled over for a busted tail light. The officer gave me a warning and told me to fix it. Ten minutes later I was pulled over again for the same busted tail light by the same cop. This time he wrote me a ticket. FML

How dare you not fix it in those ten minutes? That's painfully irresponsible of you.

Harassment. Contest it on court. The just will dismiss due to dumbass cop.

That doesn't sound really fair, does it, you could probably refuse to pay for the ticket..

I had a similar situation. The 1st time I got pulled over for a busted headlight, got a ticket, then got pulled over a 2nd time by the same cop, he said he was "Sorry" and if I got pulled over again just show my ticket to the cop....wtf

If you got pulled over in the same day, showing the ticket would have likely prevented you from getting another one for a day or two.

Take it to court. I understand he has a job to do but that is not a sufficient amount of time to replace a light. Taking it to court it will probably get thrown out or the cop won't show. You have to not let them just jerk you around
