erm, you should gone STRAIGHT to the repair shop to get it fixed
What if.... Just a thought.... This happened in the middle of the night?!
Then you shouldnt be driving around with a busted light... How hard is it to fix a light anyway? In a lot of countries you need to carry spares so you can fix em on the spot if they're broken.
here in canada (most provinces) they give u 30 days to rectify the problem, once 30 days are up, you gotta go get ur car inspected to ensure u fixed the issues. (gone through it before with my rear passanger door handle, it was missing cause some asshole sideswiped me while i was parallel parked on main shopping : ppl are dicks)
That's an inspection order. It's different then a fix it notice. If you have something like a burnt out head light, the cop can give you as little or as much time as they want to have the problem amended. If you have a few things wrong with your car you get an inspection notice and have thirty days to fix it and get it inspected. Sorry for the spiel but wrong statements tick me off.
Guess you shouldn't have broken the law in the first place.
Says the criminal. I sense bias.
I saw this on the News.
I'm calling bullshit. Unless the cop in question has an issue with you, then he should be held accountable.
Also, quotas aren't real. Love all the ignorant comments.

How dare you not fix it in those ten minutes? That's painfully irresponsible of you.
