No, no, no, no, NO! You do not *ever* give a baby that age something to eat that has not been approved by the parent. You do not know if the baby has a severe allergy to regular formula. And maybe the "Kool-Aid" was Pedialyte which the baby was being given to rehydrate it after regular formula gave it severe diarrhea! Talk to the mother to find out what's up, even call CPS if you really think something is wrong, but don't EVER take it upon yourself to just decide that you know what is best for a child you don't even know!

Just the other day I saw a woman on the bus handing her baby a bottle of Gatorade... Some people these days really should not have kids. I hope you called CPS on her. If it was really kool-aid in the bottle, she needs some serious education and monitoring if not having her baby taken away. (Though like someone else mentioned, it could have been something else in the bottle and there may have been a reason the baby was not being fed formula or breast milk. I hope you asked and didn't just jump to conclusions.)
