Today, I got screamed at, threatened, cursed, and spat on by an elderly couple for "running them off the road". I was driving an ambulance, lights and sirens on, with a 4 year old in the back who couldn't breathe. They were going 20 in a 50mph zone for 2 miles straight. FML

Today, some aggressive asshole was tailgating me on my way home, bumping into me twice. I got scared and kicked my car into high gear and got out of there. Seconds later, a traffic cop came out of nowhere and pulled me over for speeding. FML

Today, I was driving my grandpa to the store because his car is in the shop. I was well within the speed limit, but he kept yelling at me for "speeding", then accused me of trying to give him a heart attack, and eventually pulled the e-brake, getting us rear-ended. He refuses to apologise. FML

Today, my neighbor yelled at me for driving recklessly. I was going 35 mph, and she was stopped in the middle of a road around a blind curve. My "reckless driving" was slamming on the brakes so I wouldn't hit her. FML

Today, I had a “Fuck you” shouting match with a guy who'd tailgated me in the slow lane through an active school zone. I flipped him off when he finally passed, which admittedly wasn’t my best move. He ended up beside me, windows down, where we verbally sparred like teenagers in a dick swinging contest. Regrettably. FML

Today, a cop almost rear-ended my car, slammed on the gas with no warning, swerved around me, flipped me the bird, then cut me off and then drove a full ten miles under the speed limit. When I changed lanes to overtake him, he pulled me over for road rage. FML

Today, my car broke down at a red light. A man pulled up next to me and yelled at me to get out of the fast lane. I thought he was gonna offer help, as I was a young woman on her own, but he just yelled at me and sped off. FML

Today, I was going into a store and saw a woman roughly handling a screaming toddler. I kept walking, until I heard the kid scream, "Help! You’re not my mommy!” I called 911 and stood behind the car to keep her from taking off. The cops arrived to see me fending off blows from a very pissed off grandma. FML

You'd be surprised. I was riding in the back of an ambulance because my friend had been in an accident and I was the only one there to ride with her. When they were pulling her out of the back I jumped out and saw this jackass with a TV tied in the bed of his pickup truck come tearing into the driveway (which is supposed to be ambulance only) and start hollering at the EMTs and at me (for whatever reason, because I was standing near the bus I suppose) for making him "risk breaking his new big screen TV" that he had been driving very slowly to try and keep safe. Yeah, people don't make sense, they are hypocrites, and they will contradict themselves, it's just part of human nature I suppose. Though I did get to see one of the EMTs punch the guy in the face when the guy went and grabbed the front of his uniform. That was pretty sweet.

Hope the child is fine? The elderly couple could be next in needing a reliable ambulance ride, so they should be especially understanding. People can be so selfish and ignorant!
