... this isn't really bad.... hundreds or thousands of people get snowed in... i know people that've been snowed in at malls... nbd...
Not to mention just last month a bunch of people were snowed in on the middle of a highway in Ontario and people almost DIED. **** those people's lives, at least OP has heat and water.
win for being so short
ask about overtime
This has happened to me before too. Im a security officer, sleeping at work is not an option.
I have been snowed in at work twice in my life. Once I worked for a factory, who called the vending company to let them know that they are breaking open the vending machines to empty them out to give employees food and drinks since they can't get home. The second time, I worked for a university and they had dining services feed us and opened up the student union for the employees to sleep in and play games and watch TV until we got home Both times we also got paid double time if we covered the shifts that could not get in as well. Being snowed in at work is not a bad thing as long as you have power.
That would be a crappy situation. However if that happened to me at work, there is plenty of booze...
LOL FYL
Eat the yellow snow. I hear it's high in fiber.
