Something similar to this happened to me at JC Penny. I was actually taking clothing I bought from another store out of a bag I had with me as I was attempting to match it with clothes at JC Penny. When they took me back to view the video and they searched my bag, they saw that I had a receipt for the merchandise and that it wasn't even theirs then the police academy rejects let me go.
I /ALWAYS/ get paranoid about that! Every time I go into a store and use something that I already had, I get paranoid that the police will think I stole it! Augh god... Just calmly explain to them that you already had it! Although they probably won't believe you... FYL. I don't know how you could have gotten away with that...
SUE SUE SUE.... its the American Dream... do nothing and get rich.... they can afford it
Ew this has happened to me too. Then they see that whatever I'm using is half empty...
maybe you shouldn't be so suspicious.
Because they can? Why does it matter?
you can sue them for that

What how could they do that?! I hope they let you off, because they had no proof that it wasn't already yours...
