Today, I had a dream that I was 25, unemployed, living with my parents, and still completely in love with someone who no longer feels the same way about me. Oh wait... it wasn't a dream. FML

Wow, people on here are really unsupportive. The majority of people in their 20s are having the hardest times in life. Jobs are very scarce and most people are unemployed. Half my high school graduating class moved out and had to move back in with their parents because they can't afford to make it on their own due to this crappy economy. The fact that OP also has a broken heart doesn't help matters. To those of you saying for her to "do something about it", how do you know she isn't trying to get a job but isn't succeeding? Like I said, most people don't have jobs these days, and it's very hard to get one. I have a degree and several certifications from college but where am I? Working at Dollar General for minimum wage 5 hours a day, 3 days a week, with an $18,000 student loan to pay off. So stop bashing OP since your lives are so perfect and in order but OP's isn't.

I know the feeling, only I'm 21, had to move back home because I'm now unemployed, and the person I love the most could care less about me.

today I dreamt that I read a stupid fml post. oh wait... it wasnt a dream. FML

It could be worse, you could be a forty year old convicted felon living with your retired mother, who pays all your bills, and you could be begging your son for money, in other words, you could be my dad.

I'm sorry man, but you know, it's always darkest before the dawn

Get a job, and the first two issues will take care of themselves. I never understand why parents let their adult kids live with them if they aren't working or in school...you have to be doing something full time, even if it's a menial job for now.
