Today, I had my first job interview since graduating from university. The person who interviewed me informed me that not using my degree after two years practically makes it null and void. I guess instead of being a financial advisor at the company, I could always be a janitor there. FML

degrees do not become null and void, that was probably just the interviewers way of not wanting to hire you and avoiding the process of telling you that you didn't get the job.

first of all that's just one person's opinion and I think it's bull. 2nd if you just graduated then even if it were true you have 2 years to get a job.
