Well, something can be written very well, like proper use of grammar etc. However, that doesn't always mean that the content is great.. Sorry, OP. I know the feeling, it still sucks.

This happened to me, except my paper was this huge graduation requirement called the "I-Search." She said my idea of creativity was great and she couldn't wait to see it when it was done. I completed it with a week to spare. She then said my project wouldn't work because the idea/format wasn't MLA. I had to start from scratch. When we came back, she then told the entire class my idea and said it would be perfectly fine to use...sometimes, teachers are jerks. I'm so sorry, no one deserves this type of thing to happen to them.

In the tenth grade I had a teacher give me a C on almost every essay I wrote all year. My mom ended up calling her to ask what more I could do because she saw I was trying my hardest and she thought my essays were worth more than Cs. The teacher told her my essays were actually worth A's and she considered them "college material". she graded me poorly because she thought it would push me to work even harder. SO I FEEL YOU IM SORRY YOUR TEACHER IS A TOTAL DOUCHEBAG.

My prof basically did the same thing to my group for our final paper. We handed it in twice so she could guide us in the direction we needed to go to get an A. She said everything was great and we were doing exactly what she wanted, when we got it back she gave us a C-
