Why should she have kept her virginity? You have no idea how old she is, how long they've been together, what their relationship is like, etc. If OP wanted to lose her virginity, that was her decision, and there's nothing wrong with that. Also there is nothing here to suggest that they weren't sober.

Virgin or not if the person is big it tends to bleed a lot. Kinda resembles a murder scene. Being a virgin would make it worse. Good guys apologies a lot. Some black out at the sight of blood or freak out. Good luck next time.
